JE Systems History  


The year was 1964, forty-six years ago when our company, Arko Telephone and Communications was founded in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Our company was a Manufacturer's Representative for General Electric Company, Mobile Communications Division.

In September of 1991, Arko Telephone of Fort Smith changed its name to Arko Communications and then, in 1995 due to our growth and the fact that we were now extending our services into other outlying communities, we had chosen to change our name to Clear Communications, Inc.

Mr. Jimmy Eakle worked for Arko Communications from 1991-1994 before starting his own company in August 1994. Then in November of 2004, Mr. Eakle of JE Systems, Inc. acquired Clear Communications, Inc. and Western Arkansas Telecom Systems, Inc.

On March 1, 2005 Clear Communications and WATS became legally changed to JE Systems, Inc. In September 2005, JE Systems, Inc. purchased Electronic Systems Group (ESG) in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK.

The History of our company is undeniably a strong and reputable presence throughout the community. Even though the name has changed throughout the years, our pride in our unsurpassed reputation, in installation, neatness, prompt service response, continued service after installation, and references received from our clients. With offices in Fort Smith, Little Rock, Springdale, and Tulsa we are readily available to service and meet the needs of our present and future clients.
